Maximum Settlement Deadlines Extended for Certain Export Operations

On 13 June 2026, Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 63 entered into force, amending Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 67 dated 14 May 2019. The document provides for the revision of the maximum settlement deadlines for export operations involving certain categories of industrial products.

In particular, the Resolution provides for:

  • increasing the maximum settlement deadlines from 180 to 270 days for export operations involving pipes and components for railway transport (UCGFEA codes 7304, 7305, 7306, 8607);
  • applying the updated maximum deadlines to the aforementioned export operations carried out by business entities from 15 June 2026.

At the same time, it should be noted that for other export-import operations, the general maximum settlement deadline remains at 180 calendar days (subject to certain restrictions and exceptions).

The press service of the National Bank of Ukraine notes that such changes will increase the flexibility of businesses amid complex settlements with foreign counterparties and will help preserve foreign currency revenues in Ukraine.

We will continue to closely monitor further developments in this area and report on them in the future Legal News.
