He leads the practices of corporate law and M&A, as well as competition law.
Dr. Syrota has a solid background of advising domestic and international companies operating in Ukraine on a wide range of matters including cross-border M&A, purchase and development of business projects, investment and various issues related to competition. Dmytro Syrota regularly handles sophisticated taxation matters relating to cross-border transaction structuring. Moreover, Dr. Syrota has experience in tax disputes on VAT and corporate income tax issues.
Dmytro Syrota managed different projects that were undertaken in various industries and economic sectors by the firm’s clients.
Dr. Syrota is actively involved in the work relating to preparing drafts of the laws, participates as an independent expert in the government teams working on improvement of the investment climate and economic reforms. Dmytro Syrota also lectures on international private law at the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University.
