Those who have obtained a work permit for foreigners do not need to periodically travel abroad

Foreigners after obtaining a work permit will not need to go abroad and return to Ukraine again.

The corresponding decision was taken at a government meeting on July 18.

Now, to obtain a residence permit, the State Migration Service employees require foreigners to leave and return to Ukraine. At the same time, such departure/entry can be carried out through the territory of any country and does not foresee the receipt of any additional documents.

The decision taken by the Cabinet of Ministers provides for the abolition of the possibility of the refusal to issue a residence permit on the grounds that the date of entry into Ukraine precedes the date of obtaining a work permit.
