The list of the military obliged persons who may travel abroad has been expanded

As the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mr. Mykhailo Fedorov announced, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced an opportunity of short-term business trips abroad for the military obliged persons representatives of from business.

Employees of companies and individual entrepreneurs liable for military service shall be allowed to leave Ukraine for foreign business trips for a period of up to 7 days, subject to compliance with all of the following terms:

• employees traveling abroad shall be insured (i.e. they should be working under an employment contract, and the employer should pay the unified social contribution for them),
• a company or an individual entrepreneur should make sure the average monthly salary of their employees of at least 20,000 UAH (~$500),
• a company or an individual entrepreneur should have at least 10 employees,
• a company or an individual entrepreneur should have no tax debt or debt for the unified social contribution as well as should submit the tax reporting properly,
• a company or an individual entrepreneur shall deposit guarantee funds – 200,000 UAH (~$5,000) to the state bank account.

No more than 10% of the employees of the relevant company or individual entrepreneur may be granted such permit to leave under the above terms simultaneously.

The relevant regulations will come into effect on 01 September 2022. Permit applications shall be accepted via “Diya” web portal.
