The List of Construction Works with No Permission Required is Expanded

The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of construction works requiring no more permission to perform some type of works and prior subject of no acceptance for exploitation if missing. The relevant Government Decree No. 236 of March 20, 2019, has already entered into force.

Starting from the date, with the exception of previously defined works, one no longer needs to obtain permits for:

(a) the re-equipment and redevelopment of buildings and structures of any class of consequences (responsibility) if the work involves no intervention in the fencing and supporting structures and/or engineering systems of common use (previously, missing the appropriate permission, the work could be carried out only at sites of a minor class of consequences

(b) the reconstruction and overhaul of internal heating, ventilation, water supply, and drainage systems, including pipelines, as well as power and low-current systems ensuring the functioning of buildings and structures;

(c) the equipping of buildings and structures with instruments for keeping individual records of heat energy, hot and cold water;

  1. d) the reconstruction or technical re-equipment of electric networks with a voltage not exceeding 10 kV (lines of electric networks, transformer substations, engineering infrastructure objects), etc.
