New Sanctions

The President of Ukraine introduced new sanctions against a number of individuals connected to the aggressor-state by his Decree dated 07.09.2022 No. 637/2022.

The NBU discount rate remains the same

The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine decided to keep the discount rate at the level of 25%.

“Visa-Free Customs” with the European Union

As reported by the Government, the launch of the “visa-free customs ” (the New Computerized Transit System) with the EU will be launched by 01.10.2022.
This implies significant integration of Ukrainian customs with European ones, harmonization of the Ukrainian legislation with the EU law, implementation of the European complaint handling mechanism and continuation of digitalization of customs. As informed, “visa-free customs” is intended to simplify customs clearance for reliable enterprises, improve the procedure for granting the status of a financial guarantor and making customs payments.
Let us please remind: on 15.08.2022, Ukraine joined the Convention on the Procedure of Common Transit; the Verkhovna Rada also made appropriate amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine.
