Adopted The Law on E-identification and E-trust services
On 1 December 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in its entirety Draft Law No. 6173 on mutual recognition of qualified electronic trust services and implementation of European Union legislation in the field of electronic identification.
Thus, the Draft Law provides that Ukraine shall recognize the qualified electronic signature (QES) of the European Union. For their part, the EU shall be able to temporarily recognize the Ukrainian QES.
Let us remind that on 22.11.2022 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine already adopted the resolution on the subject mentioned above.
Adopted the New Law “On Copyright and Related Rights”
On 1 December 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the new Law “On Copyright and Related Rights” (Draft Law No. 5552-1).
According to the statement of the press service of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Law is aimed at harmonizing Ukrainian legislation in the field of copyright with EU legislation.
