On 02 September 2025, the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General announced that the “StopPressure” business protection portal has officially started operation.
This digital tool has been introduced as part of a state policy to protect businesses from illegal interference in economic activity by law enforcement agencies.
The portal will allow company executives to report cases of pressure, undergo verification and classification of such cases, which will provide a systematic response to them.
The opportunity to submit an appeal is available exclusively to executives of private legal entities, as well as public legal entities engaged in economic activities, except for central and local government bodies and local self-government bodies.
The information provided will be used to verify reports, open investigations, and bring those responsible to justice in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
Pressure is considered to be actions or inaction by law enforcement agencies that have signs of violating the law, in particular:
- searches without a court order or without legalization, absence of witnesses or video recording, seizure of property in violation of procedure;
- illegal temporary access to documents, seizure of property or accounts without grounds;
- counteracting legal economic activity, blocking the work of an enterprise, obstructing access to property or facilities, etc.
The principle of the portal is that the manager logs in via “Diia”, submits a description of the situation with evidence, after which the request is automatically recorded and processed within a specified time frame.
