Business inspections - more transparent and risk-oriented

The Ministry of Economic Development reported that in 2019 business inspections will become more transparent and risk-oriented.
An integrated portal inspections.gov.ua with a number of tools for interaction between the state and business has already been launched.
One of the objectives of the new inspection system is to focus on the taxpayer. To this end, the Risk Management Cabinet is being created on the inspection portal with a number of tools:
(a) a calendar of scheduled checks;
(b) the history of the checks carried out and their results;
(c) exhaustive checklists – requirements for entrepreneurs, with the possibility of self-control for each potential hazard;
(d) the ability to assess the quality of the inspector’s work, which will be the basis for the rating of inspections;
(e) the ability to point out the burdensome specific requirements that make it difficult to work. This will be the basis for viewing them to reduce the regulatory burden on the business.
The inspection portal is still in test mode. Portal tools will be fully available for use from January 1, 2019. To this end, inspections by the end of this year must approve the forms of acts of inspections of the new sample and make public information about the inspections.
