Single window: list of goods that will be checked at customs

The government has ensured the implementation of the “single window” mechanism at customs, which was introduced by Law No. 2530-VIII, by optimizing control procedures for the movement of goods across the customs border of Ukraine.
Resolution No. 960 of October 24, 2018 approved:
– a list of goods that, in the event of importation into the customs territory of Ukraine (including for the purpose of transit), are subject to official control measures. These are goods subject to phytosanitary and veterinary and sanitary control, as well as goods subject to state control over compliance with the legislation on food, feed, animal by-products, animal health and welfare;
– list of documents and information to be checked during the preliminary documentary control.
According to Art. 319 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine (including for transit purposes) may be subject to official control measures. Such events are held:
– at checkpoints (checkpoints) across the state border of Ukraine – to the extent necessary to grant permission to pass goods across the customs border of Ukraine for their movement to destinations in Ukraine or to a point of export (pass) outside the customs territory of Ukraine or release them in the declared customs regime in accordance with the purpose of their importation into Ukraine at the checkpoint (control point) across the state border of Ukraine;
– at destinations on the territory of Ukraine – to the extent necessary for granting permission to release goods into the declared customs regime in accordance with the purpose of their importation into Ukraine.
